Fight for Kindness Global Poster Exhibition Series to Launch Across Five Cities on World Kindness Day

The fifth edition of the international, non-profit initiative "Fight for Kindness" is preparing to launch its 2026 Global Exhibition Season on November 13, coinciding with World Kindness Day. Developed by TypeCampus and sponsored by the independent type foundry Zetafonts, the project utilizes the power of typography and visual communication as a creative act of resistance against prevailing cultures of arrogance and supremacy. This year’s global launch will feature five simultaneous exhibitions opening across Europe and Asia, bringing together diverse international perspectives centered on empathy, shared humanity, and positive social change.

The upcoming simultaneous openings will take place in Budapest, Hungary; Rome, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; Plovdiv, Bulgaria; and Bandung, Indonesia. These events mark a significant milestone for the initiative, which has experienced steady international growth since its inception. Founded in 2022 by Debora Manetti, the project has evolved from a straightforward open call into a multifaceted cultural platform. Today, the initiative encompasses international exhibitions, educational programs, creative partnerships, and annual publications, all dedicated to making kindness visible through design and fostering broader public discourse about human connection.

The foundation of each year’s exhibition cycle is an open call for creative submissions that invite designers, typographers, and visual artists from around the world to interpret the theme of kindness. For the 2026 edition, the initiative received an overwhelming response, gathering more than 1,000 poster designs submitted by creators from 83 countries. These submissions span 42 different languages and scripts, reflecting a rich tapestry of cultural backgrounds, aesthetic traditions, and typographic expressions. By bringing together such a diverse array of voices, the project highlights how visual communication can transcend linguistic and geographical boundaries to articulate a universal desire for a more compassionate society.

This extensive global footprint underscores the growing resonance of the initiative within the international design community and its ability to mobilize creative practitioners around shared social values.
