London-based creative studio Optical Arts has teamed up with Dyson to launch a striking new commercial campaign that reimagines the standard product showcase for the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene vacuum-mop. Moving far beyond traditional features lists and conventional beauty shots, Creative Director Fabrice Le Nezet and his team injected a high-voltage blend of fun, kinetic energy, and high-end computer graphics into the launch of the advanced wet and dry floor-care device.

Instead of relying on standard household demonstrations, the campaign—released in late October 2026—pivots toward pure visual spectacle, treating thousands of vacuum-mops like tumbling dominoes in a vast, minimalist architectural setting.
According to the production team at Optical Arts, the project required an extensive phase of research and development before filming or rendering could begin. The studio developed a specialized computer graphics setup that made it possible to orchestrate a massive chain reaction involving thousands of individual mops. Each unit falls with carefully calculated, realistic physical weight and momentum, yet the system allowed the artists to retain complete artistic control to direct, art-direct, and choreograph every single frame of the scene.

Drawing explicit inspiration from analogue filmmaking techniques, the directors wanted the final commercial to feel simultaneously grounded in physical reality and grandiose in scale. They infused the project with the unmistakable rhythm, energy, and visual pacing of a modern music video. By combining the unpredictable nature of real-world physics with a highly considered and minimalist visual language, Optical Arts crafted a piece of advertising that feels dynamic, tactile, and perpetually full of forward momentum.
The resulting imagery places the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene vacuum-mop at the center of surreal, expansive environments. In one striking sequence, a solitary Dyson robot vacuum sits in the foreground of a vast, minimalist hall filled with endless rows of standing vacuum cleaner and mop attachments. In another wide-angle shot, hundreds of floor components are arranged in concentric, circular patterns that evoke the rhythmic bristles of mops spreading across a polished concrete floor. Other frames feature the cordless stick vacuum surrounded by blurred architectural and gym-like elements, culminating in clean, bright product shots that emphasize the device’s hygiene-focused design and its unique selling point: a wet and dry cleaner engineered with no dirty filter.

The ambitious project was brought to life through a collaborative effort between the brand and a talented roster of creative professionals. The production was spearheaded by Optical Arts, with Executive Producer Hannah May and Producer Benedict Kazemi managing the workflow. The complex technical and artistic demands of the computer graphics were led by Thomas Ramboz, supported by CG artists Serap Karaduman, Mattia Ker, Flora Macleod, and Nicolas Damour. The detailed 3D models were crafted by Emma Malric and Sergi De La Sheras, while 2D artistry was handled by Ahmed El Azma and editing was completed by Greg Hayes.
Post-production finishing extended beyond the studio’s internal team. The striking grade and color palette of the film were executed by colorist Daniela Rotaru at Time Based Arts, establishing the cool, cinematic tone of the minimalist spaces. Meanwhile, the energetic sonic landscape that drives the rhythm of the visual chain reaction was crafted by the audio team at 750mph.

By marrying high-end technical simulation with avant-garde art direction, Optical Arts and Dyson have managed to transform a practical household cleaning appliance into the star of a hypnotic visual journey, proving that even the most functional consumer technology can be elevated through ambitious design and uncompromising creative vision.
