The CG motion design crew at Kutuko, based in Madrid, has pulled off an explosive campaign for Spanish sports gear brand Bullpadel. Their latest launch film for the new Xplo 02 padel racket breaks away from traditional sporting goods advertising by leaning heavily into over-the-top damage, raw kinetic energy, and dramatic narrative storytelling.
Rather than relying on standard product beauty shots or clinical laboratory demonstrations, the studio chose to visualize the overwhelming power of the Xplo 02 through the aftermath of utter devastation. The result is a high-octane visual sequence that establishes the dominant character of the racket from its very first frame.

Crafting a Narrative of Raw Force
According to Ibón Vergara, lead 3D artist at Kutuko, the creative team deliberately sought to subvert expectations for sports product videos.
"We wanted to move away from the typical sports product video to build a more narrative concept," Vergara explained. "The real challenge was how to show raw force without falling into predictable clichés."

To achieve this, the studio conceptualized a storyline centered around a completely destroyed court following an exceptionally intense match. This setting serves as visual proof of the racket’s immense capability, building instant intrigue for the viewer. Kutuko meticulously calibrated the timing of every shot, manipulating pacing to cultivate a palpable sense of inertia and impending impact. The sequence steadily accelerates, creating a continuous flow of kinetic energy that highlights the engineering and dominant presence of the Xplo 02.
Visualizing Destruction Through 3D Motion
To bring this high-impact vision to life, the production team at Kutuko utilized Cinema 4D as their primary toolkit, crafting a series of hyper-detailed, catastrophic scenarios that emphasize structural failure and kinetic violence.

The resulting visual assets showcase a striking array of destruction. One key frame captures a circular, bullet-hole-like impact on a pane of reinforced wire glass, with severe fractures radiating outward in a pattern that mirrors the destructive force of the Xplo 02. Another close-up reveals deep, jagged cracks cutting across the textured, vibrant blue surface of the racket itself, highlighting both its durability and the violent energy it is built to unleash.
Further expanding the theme of unbridled power, the campaign imagery features a shattered basketball backboard caught mid-spark and smoking from the sheer force of an impact. In another striking composition, a Bullpadel NEXT PRO tennis ball sits dead-center within a cracked, circular crater, frozen in the aftermath of a devastating strike. The sequence ultimately grounds its chaotic narrative when a precision robotic arm is revealed holding the pristine Bullpadel Xplo 02 racket at the center of the court, bridging the gap between theoretical devastation and precise athletic engineering.
