Parade Founder Cami Tellez Taps UTA Exec to Scale Her ‘Post-Follower’ Agency

Enter Cami Tellez, a prominent figure in modern marketing who is looking to rewrite the rules of digital partnerships. With her latest entrepreneurial venture, Tellez is setting out to fundamentally change how brands and creators collaborate, aiming to drag influencer marketing into the modern era of social media consumption.

Tellez, the 29-year-old marketing strategist and entrepreneur who previously cofounded the popular Gen Z underwear brand Parade in 2019, officially launched her new company, Devotion, earlier this year. The startup was built with a singular, ambitious mission: to establish a comprehensive creator marketing platform designed specifically for the post-follower era. In this new paradigm, sheer audience size matters far less than genuine engagement, community trust, and content resonance. To help steer this vision, Tellez brought on cofounder and CEO Jon Kroopf, an industry veteran whose impressive resume includes notable tenures at TikTok and CreatorIQ, bringing deep technical and operational expertise in the creator economy to the table.

The leadership team at Devotion received another significant boost on Friday following a year marked by rapid growth and development. Tellez revealed to ADWEEK that the company has officially appointed Ed Victori as its first chief operating officer. Victori’s arrival is expected to accelerate the startup’s strategic efforts and operational scaling as it positions itself for its next phase of market expansion.

Victori makes the jump to the startup world from United Talent Agency. His journey to UTA came through the agency’s acquisition of JUV Consulting, a renowned youth marketing agency where Victori served as chief operating officer. During his time at JUV Consulting, Victori played a pivotal leadership role in guiding the agency through its successful sale, an experience that will likely prove invaluable as Devotion navigates its own rapid growth trajectory, early-stage scaling, and future market positioning within the fiercely competitive creator marketing ecosystem.
