‘Landman’ Season 3 Officially in Production at Paramount+: Four Cast Members Promoted to Series Regulars

Production is officially underway on the third season of the hit Paramount+ oil industry drama “Landman,” bringing a fresh wave of high-stakes momentum to the Lone Star State. As cameras roll in Fort Worth, Texas, the gritty series continues to expand its sprawling narrative and ensemble cast, announcing the promotion of four recurring actors to series regular status alongside major new talent joining the upcoming season.

Colm Feore, who portrays Nate, Mustafa Speaks, who plays Boss, Bobbi Salvor Menuez, stepping in as Paigyn, and Francesca Xuereb, who embodies Cheyenne, have all been elevated to series regulars as they head into the new season. These promotions reflect the growing narrative weight of their respective characters within the cutthroat, high-stakes world of West Texas oil extraction, corporate maneuvering, and dangerous alliances.

The expanding ensemble is spearheaded by Academy Award-winner Billy Bob Thornton, who anchors the series in his leading role as crisis manager Tommy Norris. The powerhouse cast also features a roster of acclaimed talent, including Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Sam Elliott, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, and James Jordan. Furthermore, as previously reported, seasoned actor Michael Kelly is officially joining the show’s third season as a series regular, adding even more dramatic gravity to an already formidable cast list.

Behind the camera, “Landman” boasts an experienced and heavyweight creative team. The series was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, both of whom serve as executive producers. They are joined in executive producing duties by David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, and Stephen Kay. Additional executive production comes from Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch for Imperative Entertainment, alongside J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly, the publication whose reporting and articles helped inspire the atmospheric realism of the series. “Landman” is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridan’s banner, Bosque Ranch Productions.

The journey to Season 3 comes on the heels of phenomenal commercial and critical success for the streaming platform. “Landman” has proven to be a major ratings juggernaut for Paramount+. According to Nielsen multiplatform data, the intense oil-patch drama averaged over 14 million viewers per episode during the first five weeks of 2026, solidifying its place as one of the definitive tentpole series of the streaming era and capturing a massive, dedicated audience drawn to its unflinching look at modern corporate enterprise and roughneck survival.

For fans following the intricate power dynamics of the Permian Basin, the upcoming third season will pick up the pieces of a dramatic and volatile narrative landscape left behind at the close of the second season.

At the conclusion of the previous season, Tommy Norris finds himself at a major professional crossroads after being fired by Cami, played by Demi Moore, from his position as the head of M-Tex. Rather than tucking his tail and seeking a safe corporate landing at another rival oil company, Tommy makes a defiant and high-risk bet on himself. In a move that defines his resilient yet stubborn character, he decides to go into business for himself by partnering directly with his son, played by Jacob Lofland.

However, this bold entrepreneurial leap does not come without severe complications. Choosing independence over corporate security forces Tommy into a precarious and dangerous business arrangement with cartel boss Gallino, portrayed by Andy Garcia. This forced alliance introduces a perilous new layer of threat and leverage to the family business, setting the stage for an explosive third season where the margin for error is razor-thin and the consequences of failure stretch far beyond the boardroom and out into the lawless expanse of the West Texas desert. As production continues in Fort Worth, the cast and crew are laying the groundwork for what promises to be another intense chapter in the ongoing saga of land, oil, and survival.
