Alongside receiving the Artist of Distinction Award, Teller is set to showcase his latest cinematic endeavor at the festival. He stars alongside Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson in James Gray’s eagerly anticipated thriller “Paper Tiger.” The film centers on a tense narrative following two brothers who find themselves dangerously entangled in the dark underbelly of a criminal underworld.
The Newport Beach Film Festival will host a screening of “Paper Tiger” on October 18, coinciding with the festival’s Honors ceremony. Following its festival debut, Neon is scheduled to release the thriller widely in theaters on November 13, bringing the gritty drama to audiences nationwide.
